DM-1000系列数字差压表/风速表是替换模拟机械式差压表及风速表的最理想的数字式仪表。同模拟表相比，数字表具有更强大灵活的功能，诸如可以现场编程选择测量压力、风速或流量。此外DM-1000系列数字式差压表还具备一个特性，因其具有报警设定点，特别适用于有过滤器的应用场合，当过滤器脏了后，DM-1000将会闪烁报警，提醒客户需要进行维护等操作。
对DM-1000系列进行编程，仅仅需要通过菜单键进入4个醒目的子菜单，通过它们可以设定安全等级、选择工程单位、更改K系数（当使用不同的皮托管或流量传感器时）、设定圆形或方形管道尺寸（测量体积流量时）、更改过滤器设定点、查看最高/最低峰值数据、设定数字阻尼值用来平滑读数（用于读数波动较多的过程应用）、高级显示模式（用以节省电池），现场校准零点及量程。
DM-1000系列数字式差压表/风速表，具有1%FS的精度（量程大于2 W.C）及2%精度（量程0.25?W.C到1W.C）。DM-1000具有多种供电方式，可以使用9-24VDC电源模块供电，也可以使用9V电池供电。而当使用电源模块供电且仪表具有9V电池时，电池将起到备份的作用，即当停电时9V电池将自动启动，使仪表继续正常运行。
